Dear Diddy,
You Fail! Recently while reading Hello Beautiful, I saw you’re casting call requirements for models for the Ciroc promotion. In your list of requirements you were very clear on what type of young ladies you wanted to rep your wackass liquor. The casting call listed you wanted White, Hispanic, and Light Skin African American women. Now the question on everyone mind is, what happened to the darker skin models?
I was not surprised when I read this shit, because I always considered you a bitch. On twitter you had the f^cking nerve to state that you love dark skin women, and linked your Ciroc myspace page showing that “fact”. The only dark skin woman I saw was your baby momma Kim Porter. I guess that was some sort of proof, but isn’t Kim the same woman you constantly cheat on with lighter skin women? The woman you keep knocking the hell up, and yet prance around with Cassie’s high yellow ass all over the country? The main reason you gravitate to people lighter than yourself is because you don’t really like yourself. Low self-esteem is a bitch isn’t it punk?
I can see where you get it from. Your momma walks around with this long ass blonde wig looking like a f^cking old ass fool. I guess she’s afraid to show what is really cooking in her kitchen. People like you make it hard for dark skin girls to love and embrace who they are. Ignorant ass negros make women feel like their look is a curse and if you aren’t light and damn near white your less than everyone else. I grew up around bitches like you. If I didn’t learn to love myself and realize GOD made me in the beautiful reflection of him, who knows what type of person I would have become. Young impressionable girls look at this sort of thing and think their beauty is a curse. I don’t know what examples you’re setting for your daughters. But nigga you fail. Go suck a d*ck bitch.
Sincerely,
ViChick

I'm not taking the attack personally, because i love myself and embracethe inner and outter beauty w/ pride and joy. But youre right, w/ the media neglecting to represent people of ALL colors and shades it really puts a toll of the people neglected. Making them question their self worth. This is unfair and unneccesary. It's not only Diddy, its many other brainwashed idiots out there who only see "one way". CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU RECK YOUSELF… is all i have to say.

i agree with that completely. I always wondered why we as black people feel we need to dye our hair blonde. are we trying to be something that we not? Especially some of us dark skinned african americans out there. I always felt that the lighter skinned black people are always held in higher regard than the darker skinned people. Are we tryin to say light is right? That mentality of treating light skinned black people different than darker skinned black people is from the Lynch laws. If you have never heard about it, it's this book by this white southern man, whose last name is lynch. what he does is he instructed slave owners how to keep a handle on the slaves. Divide and conquer. Keep the light skinned slaves in the house and keep the darker ones outside in the fields. Resentment for the light skinned ones are embedded in the dark skinned slaves and as a direct result an idea of being seen as good enough to be accepted by mainstream society aka white people was born. It is sad that it is the way it is unless we teach our generation and future ones to love our self and have the self esteem not to be torned down because someone, like a P.Diddy who hates themselves for the color of their skin

NudeReflection,
It is sad because I think about how the media makes these young girls feel. It's like they don't matter because of how they look. I grew up like that. People telling me I am pretty for a dark skin girl WTF was that suppose to mean? People have this meantality that the darker the skin the "rougher" you should be. When you sent the blog yesterday I just couldn't believe that he really specified what he wanted and shit. SMH

Anon,
Lighter skin people are always held in higher regard. Like you said it goes back to slavery. Lighter ones worked in the house and the darker ones worked in the fields. Society has kept that stupid mentality and it has our own dark skin folks hating themselves and anyone else that doesn't represent the standard of the "white man". I just think this is something that really needs to be addressed. Love of your own people.

Slave mentality, coupled with European standards of beauty, coupled with the beauty industry = new ways to hate the skin you're in everyday it's like they brainstorm on ways to break women down systematically and we all buy into it when we spend money on goofy shit. As far as puffy he is a bitch and always will be one smh I can't stand him, I so wish that karma would hurry up and bite him in his ass.

VIChick:
I just read about this light-skinned call for Diddy's new liquor. I didn't hear about it until now. This is crazy. My complexion is in between, moreso on the lighter side and I am offended. Why do we discriminate among our own race. Diddy is a dark mother f*(&(O and have the nerve to speak about complexion. It is the black people that continues to bring its own down, and this is such a shame racism still exists, especially heavily among our own race. I never been a fan of Diddy, still isn't and I don't think I will ever be. He started to smell himself and I can't take those that think they are God and forgot where they came from. We shall leave he to the foot of the cross.

I read about this last week on theybf.com, and I 've seen Ciroc and PD's responses. I don't see how this can be put on them?? It's already been confirmed they had nothing to do with this. Plus lots of the women in his ads are dark skinned and definitely NOT Kim Porter….
