If he doesn’t change, can you live with it? How many times have you met someone you were interested in, but there was something about them that you wish would just go away? Like he’s a fanatic when it comes to video games, or she doesn’t see a problem with going to the club every weekend. Hell it could even be, he has a problem with keeping his nut sack in his pants! So many times we meet someone that has a lot of the qualities we like, but they lack something in another department. You wish upon a fallen star that he changes his ways, because if he did he would be the “perfect” person for YOU. You hold onto the relationship hoping that change will come, at the same time falling deeper and deeper in love. What if the change didn’t come, would you stay in the relationship?

Many people always preach “Accept them flaws and all”. This is true, but sometimes deep down you would like some kind of change to occur. You don’t have to necessarily change  them, but you would like them to realize their flaws and change themselves.   So you invest a year or two in the relationship and you’re still waiting for this marvelous change to come. You love them, but you’re not able to fully love them the way you want to. Year 3 rolls around and you finally realize this shit might not happen. You’ve tried to hold on as much as you can, but the longer you stay the more you dislike their flaw. The one thing about a flaw is, it’s never guaranteed to go away.

I was involved in a relationship and his flaw was sticking his dick in other bitches lady holes. In every other aspect he was a “wonderful” guy, but that was the only problem. I sat there and realized even though I loved him I couldn’t live with this flaw. Yea he said over and over again “I’ll change”, but I realized the more I stayed the more I was accepting it. If we got married and he never changed, I knew I couldn’t live with that so I bounced. You always have to think “What would happen if the change doesn’t come”? If you know deep down you can live with it, by all means make love happen. If you know your ass can’t then why hold on wasting your years on some shit that may never come? Nothing in this world is guaranteed, other than taxes and Brandy rocking a baby hair lacefront. You can want change, but that doesn’t mean it will happen.

So if you’re in a relationship with someone and their flaws might be tolerable now, just think “will  they be tolerable 5 years from now”. We can never predict the future, but I would rather let something go and see if that shit comes back to me than keep something and wish I hadn’t.

So I’m back with another rant about working at a place that you don’t give a fuck about. This one is not about the job so much as the people you work with. Have you ever worked with someone that you just wanted to walk up to them and kick them in the neck? They just do some off the wall dumb shit that makes working around them a living hell? It is so common in the work place to have that person that damn near everyone can’t stand. It can be your boss or just the nosey bitch in the next cubicle. They make your work life seem longer than what it really is. Although, we can’t stand their ass what do we do? We put a fake ass grin on our face and pretend we’re cool. When deep down you know you wanna take your stapler and staple their damn mouth shut.

Let me tell you something about your co-workers, their ass hates you as much as you hate them. They just have a better way of showing their fakeness. I use to work with this girl back in the day. I COULD NOT STAND THIS CHICK. I have a way of showing all my emotions in my face, so it was clear whenever she came around. This chick got away with murder and no one said shit. The boss just allowed her to do whatever she wanted to do. I think she was f*cking him, but hey I don’t wanna start no rumors. One day I was stuck in traffic so I was running a little late. *Whispers* I actually went out to the club the night before, overslept and stopped at McDonald’s before I went into the office. So I was running on “E” that day.

So I got into ork and my boss asked me to come into his office. He told me tardiness was not tolerated and neither was lying. He said he knew I was out having breakfast when I was suppose to be at work. I couldn’t lie!!! Hell it made no sense since his ass knew I was eating something. I told him yes I did stop and get something to eat because I was feeling nauseous and had to eat something before I got sick. He lectured to me for a good 10 mins. I wasn’t listening to his ass. I was thinking about the  guy I met the night before. Later on in the day my other co-worker told me that the bitch that I disliked more than cauliflower ratted me out. Little did I know that bitch was in the same area picking up something for her man…I mean our boss and that bitch saw my car in the Mickie D’s parking lot. I WAS F*CKING PISSED. Only some grimey no good bitch would do something like that. I wanted to cuss that hoe out, but I played my position. She tried talking to me later that day about something other than work and I ignored that bitch. If it wasn’t work related we had no reason to speak. She knew I knew it was her that dropped a dime on me, so she kept her distance from me. The sad part was this wasn’t an isolated incident. She did shit like this all the time to damn near everyone. About 6 months later that hoe got fired. Apparently companies don’t like it when you have sex in their bathrooms. I know that bitch was nasty.

I believe in karma, but people just don’t realize that shit will come back to them. Sometimes certain folks feel like getting ahead in life means sucking up or just plain ol sucking. There can never be a peaceful work environment with these people that think their shit don’t stink. Alot of times it’s jealousy that makes people act the way they do. They feel like you’re coming to take over or something. Hell sometimes some people are just plain nasty. To everyone else this person cannot be trusted, but to the higher ups this person is an exemplary employee. Trying to make other people look bad and shit. If I could see that chick now I would laugh at her ass. She tried to outshine everyone and it got her ass in the spotlight for f*cking the dude in accounting in the men’s bathroom. I wonder if she put that shit on her resume?

Giving someone your heart can be one of the scariest things you ever do. The first thing you think of is rejection…or worse getting it broken into a million pieces. Many times when we think of relinquishing our hearts we clam up and start  to hyperventilate because we’re so crippled with fear. Understand this, you can’t just go giving your heart away to assholes that don’t deserve it. You have to be selective in who you give that gift to. Although, it might result in heartbreak it also could result into the greatness feeling you’ve ever known. Here are some great tips to help you in choosing how to give your heart.

1. Their intentions are genuine ~ So many times we meet people that lie about damn near everything. They tell you what they think you wanna hear. The majority of the time we do wanna hear it. Look pass the cute smile and sweet dick/coochie. Someone that’s showing you real interest and affection isn’t hard to spot. There are many men and women out  there that look for the quickest lay and don’t give a damn about the other person’s feelings. A genuine person shows you everyday just how serious they feel. Pay attention.

2. Never listen to your friends~ Point blank…Your friends don’t know shit. Every relationship is different. What might rock her/his world might not move yours. I’ve learned they’re some “friends” out there that wish nothing but pure hurt on you. Misery loves company and if they see that your boo makes you happier than a kid in a candy store, silent hate starts to come out. Keep your relationship between you and your boo. That way no one can interfere in what you’re trying to develop.

3. Sex is Great, But Love is Better~ Sex is the #1 cause for most people to give  their hearts to another. Sex is cool and shit, but too many people *WOMEN ESPECIALLY* give their hearts along with their coochie’s. It’s become a package deal. She gives you the pussy with little to no effort and if you hit that spot right you get the heart at a discounted rate. Since when do we barter the heart for a good hour of sex? There is nothing like two people making love. I’ve found out when in love every time you make love it feels better than the last. Your heart opens wider when you give him all of you. This might be cheesy as hell but, once your heart and souls are intertwined together his dick will feel like the biggest you ever had. MESSAGEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

4. Talk is Never Cheap~ Many people underestimate the value of conversation. Just having a conversation can show you more about a person than ever. If a man cannot sit and have an hour long conversation with you on anything other than bussing that pussy open, get rid of his ass. Someone that gives a damn really wants to know who you are on the inside. He wants to get in your mind and see if you’re not just all make-up and tits.

5. *POW* Your Dead~ Love can hit you like a ton of bricks. No matter where you are or the time of day, that shit can creep up into your stream faster than the Swine Flu. When in love you tend to give more than your heart; you give all of yourself. This is a natural thing, but in allowing this to happen you also risk a great fall. Love isn’t always the way we want it to go. One minute you can be at your happiest and the other you can feel like the lowest thing on earth. Giving your heart is never guaranteed. I always heard the saying “It is better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all”. I use to think this was that bullshit, but then I realized if I never knew love I would have never known what I was missing. Every time you give your heart you die a little inside, but without it you would never know how it feels to be alive.

Giving your heart to someone is all about chances. You’re taking a chance and giving it to someone that can care it the way you did. Sometimes they care it forever, and other times they can destroy it and make it hard for you to mend it. There are times we are so eager to  have someone love us the way we wanna be loved that we forget that they’re are just normal human beings. You put so much on the line and when they disappoint you feel like the whole thing wasn’t worth your time. The game of love can go either way. When you understand and realize the beauty of loving someone else and giving your heart away that’s when you are free to give it .
