Blue Ivy already cut an album. The creole princess of all things beautiful and the hood dude turned mogul was finally introduced to their daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Saturday and the proud papa already got a song dedicated to his little girl. The song “Glory“ basically tells the story of her parents struggles to get to this point. You even find out some shit you didn’t know. I’m so happy for them and I can’t wait to see Blue Ivy. I know she’s gonna be beautiful…she’s a child of God. Screw all you hating ass haters.

Yesterday a hip- hop icon passed away. Heavy D aka the overweight lover passed away at the age of 44 yesterday in Los Angeles, CA. Heavy was not only a great artist, but he was also a great actor. Just last month Heavy D surprised the masses and performed at the BET Hip- Hop Awards. He also guest starred on a very moving episode of Law and Order SVU. I was so glad to see him back on the scene doing his thing. We all know that our time on earth is but for a time, so we have to live our lives to the fullest. Although, I never had the opportunity to meet Heavy D he seemed like one of the most genuine people to ever to work in this corrupt industry. When it’s your time your status in society doesn’t matter. Death doesn’t care if your 99 or 29, when it’s your time it’s your time. It’s the impact that you have had on others that will keep your legacy alive.

Rihanna has brought out the video to her new single “We Found Love” and of course honey chile is causing controversy again. The video shows Rih and a blonde high yella fella that kinda really favors Chris Brown, but obviously the hair color symbolizes when Chris was going through his Zack Morris blonde ambition phase. I love the video because it symbolizes love as a drug. It shows the great parts of the love game, and when it all goes to shit. That’s how our relationships get sometimes. One minute we’re on this unbelievable high, then the next we’re at the lowest of the low. Then you relize you were strung out on the feeling of love when it was actually destroy who you were. Guess who’s back with another video??? Yes it’s my creole princess of all things beautiful. This time it’s the single “Love on Top.” She wrecked it at the MTV Awards now Bey did the damn thang again. The video is simple with Bey in her trademark black leotard with a army hat. Are those things called hats?? I don’t know…anyway Bey has ditched her female dancers and went with an all male ensemble. I like the video it’s clean and simple. I love the different scenes tho…Mother Bey getting these vids out for her public.

Oh by the by: I’m really starting to think Beyonce is NOT with child. I love her, but um yea I don’t see it.

The Creole Queen of All Things Beautiful is back again. Yes queen mother has brought out the new video for “Countdown”. This is one of my favorite songs on the album. I played the shit so much it started making me sick tho. The video is  light-hearted and adorable as f*ck. The color, her dark hair and her trying to hide her little baby bump was so precious. Bey did’t do a lot of dancing of course do to her present condition of housing the heir to the Carter fortune in her perfect creole womb. I just love her….My Bey glowing.

If you still don’t know Adele’s music, then you need Jesus in your life.  My boo thang just released the video of one of my favorite songs on her album. Shot on the romantic streets of Paris, Adele brought her black and white stormy weather game to this video. Chile if you know how much this song spoke to me on a past situation… *sigh* any way Enjoy!

This song takes me back to high school when I watched a young man lose his life over senseless violence. Too many people are losing their lives so someone can amp theirs up. This shit has got to stop!

Yo, I was the biggest DMX fan you would ever want to meet. I loved this song cause it expressed what I felt at that time and shit. Now I’m more into men with Roth IRA’s , stocks and whatnot. Wear slacks and own a pair of dress shoes. Can look urban if need be, but knows words other than “shawty” “my n*gga” and “naw mean”. I don’t know but my taste level has changed over the years. I ain’t mad at the women that still love a bad boy. I like a good boy, with a little bad boy tendencies.

This was just one of my favorite  Amy Winehouse songs. It’s really sad that her battle was lost, but I look at it as a way of God protecting her from the danger she was doing to herself. Whatever pain she was experiencing in her life has now been settled. She will be truly missed. Enjoy!
